Fire-resistant glass made in Germany. It can withstand short-term heat loads of up to 760 degrees Celsius.
Designed with as much fire-viewing glass area as possible, the heat-resistant glass in the firebox door allows you to enjoy the flames and visually control the combustion process.
Be careful with the door. Avoid contact between the glass and poker, firewood, and especially nails. This can cause cracks in the glass and eventually lead to complete breakage.
Avoid temperature fluctuations. Wash and clean the glass as soon as it has cooled down. Never pour cold water on the glass while it is burning.
The glass must be pressed tightly against the lid. There must be a hot wire between the glass and the lid, as with all doors with Fireway branded glass.
